NPC Spawn Issue: Griffin in East Commonlands

I haven't yet seen the infamous griffin in East Commonlands. It was a lot of fun hearing people do a /shout whenever that thing popped and terrorized everything in its path. Is the griffin still spawning in EC or was this something accidentally overlooked?

Unless something has changed, they still spawn in EC. When I first started and the pop was lower, I'd see him once or twice.

Hmmm been in EC quite awhile the past two days and haven't seen him. Maybe the spawn is just more rare than I remember it to be?

it's in the spawn list just more than likely getting killed :-)

Aeolwyn and I actually created the griffin spawn and path the night before launch and the bastard killed me numerous times in East Commons after launch.

However, that was in October.

I have been playing since Saturday and I have not seen a single griffin in the zone at all!
