Default Chat Filter Help

I posted this in the bugs forum but I'm also asking for general non-bug related info so I thought I would post it here as well...

Hi, I am a 31 wizzie and when I logged on today for some reason it seems like my chat filters are acting differently. In my main chat window I just want my casts / damage but when I only have "mine" under "spells" filtered into this window it still shows the effects of other peoples casts for example:

1. X looks daring.
2. X is protected from fire.
3. X is surrounded by a brief lupine aura.
4. X feels much better.
5. X's spell fizzles.

When X is not me or anyone in my group?

I'm positive it was working differently when I logged yesterday.

I have clicked filter all in my combat spam window then I went to main window and filtered "mine" under "spells" into it and I can't seem to fix it.

Any help?

Plus, I did a search and there is anywhere that I can find a guide as to the explanation of the filtering categories?

Are others' spells set to go somewhere else? AFAIK, you can't just not have them show up, so if you don't specifically tell them to go somewhere else (ie another chat window), they'll default to your main window.

That's my best guess.
