spellbook/loot window/sit canceled by forward movement

Hello ive been using my forward movement key to exit my spellbook, sit, and loot windows for a long time but after a fresh install it is no longer working, does anyone know how to fix this? i have to hit escape or use my stand hotkey to exit now. ty!

1. In game, press Alt + O (that's an o not a zero)
2. In the General tab toggle "Allow Auto-stand"
