Ninja looting... illegal?

Ok i just learned that you will get suspended for ninja looting.

Can anyone confirm if this was the case on live?

Because i thought training was legal on live but apparently it wasnt the case.

Ninja looters had a rep on live and werent allowed a place anywhere near a group that knew this.

Why arent we allowed this meta-gaming part of the game?

To me this is restricting the "toys in the sandbox"

I wouldnt ninja loot with my main, but it saddens me that someone cannot do this and be hunted and punished through social consequences within the game for this.

To me, just like scamming, this is not something the GMs should touch with a ten foot pole.
