Come fly with me pals. You haven't seen grief until you've played EVE. I cannot believe I was unaware of such a good mmo. If you want 21 day free trial message me your e-mail, if not you can still try game for free for 14 days. If you haven't played this game I highly suggest you do. No grind, real pvp with real loses. You red? only 40k on server at once but sure beats 100.

Old Trailer but boner worthy.

You think Nilly a zerg? Try 8000 people in one corp (guild.)
Lol you think you lost out on a mana stone? Try losing items worth 10k US Dollars.

You think it takes strategy for mass pvp defending dragons? Try Hundreds if not thousands of ships fighting for sovereignty. Check these pvp vids with epic European hawty narrative.

Join the game, right click chat (under your picture on the left side toolbar) and open channels. Join channel Project1999. See you in game. Prepare for combat brothers.

this might be a better trailer friends. shit could really happen.

The only problem with EVE is that after a year or two you realize that you're playing a spreadsheet. Combat isn't fun, 0.0 pvp isn't even fun after a while. Dots shooting at dots.

i see your point but you can do so much more in EVE as compared to EQ. Sandbox > linear mmo

EQ is in no way linear. You're making the mistake of mentally linking it to the EQ-derivative WoW - which is in all ways a themepark treadmill, the most dreaded of MMOs. Which is why we are all still playing EverQuest.

There is a hell of a lot of sandbox to be had in P99.

I'm well aware of everything that is available in both, and they are comparable. I was a CEO and Alliance Leader in EVE for 4 years. It's got some very admirable paradigms that should be adopted to any future mmo in which they are possibly applicable, in my opinion, especially the 1-server model.

But there is also a laundry list as to why I'm here and not there, not the least of which is avatar-driven interaction, but not the most of which either. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
