New to P99 needs help.

Hey just rolled up today on p99 after off and on since the early 00's on live [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]. However i need some help in terms of where to find gear upgrades/coin spots because this is my first toon here and i have no way of twinking my toon or anything so need some tips!

Rolled a Wood Elf Ranger, for a bit of flavor. So naturally im hanging out in the faydark, ive managed to do enough mail quests to get a little bit of banded armor but im at a loss of where to find A) a magical weapon and B) and upgraded weapon not worth crap anyway thats 1hs and has decent dps and C) isnt ridiculously overpriced.

With C i know its a matter of supply and demand, i just dont have any plat anymore and its slow going making platinum now. Suggestions on an upgrade from my starter sword?
