Quest Issue: insidious rod of glamour

I just completed the turn in of the components for the insidious rod of glamour quest. I did it exactly correct based on the p1999 website. Is there a way for your to check and see if i completed this correctly or something so I didnt have to do all of that for nothing?

I gave the stone to cynthia and then gave it to tarn to get it fully enchanted, I also gave him the golden rod.

Reimbursement of the rod would be greatly appreciated. I did complete the entire quest? not sure how these things work, but will be eager to hear back.

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to give the rod (and the enchanted stone) to the guy in Temple of Sol Ro, not to Tarn. I did this several times on this server before Kunark came out and everything worked exactly as it should.

i did give the rod to sultan with the stone, i guess it was typed sloppy. but i meant i did the prereq stuff and then turned the final shit into sultin in sol ro. the enchanted stone and the rod.

this is p1999 red btw. the quest was bugged on the red server until the last patch. first the rod wouldnt drop off the frog in upper guk. so i waited and completed the entire quest yesterday, and the quest didnt work. I had indifferent faction at the time. thats the ONLY thing i could think of that would make it not work, but i was told indiff shouldnt matter.

Did my turn-in at amiable, was on red too and had no problemo. Feed that Sro erudite Rathmana some gold to be sure imo. Went from low apprehensive to high amiable in 3000gp.

Sultin will not reward your efforts if you do not have sufficient faction. Indifferent is insufficient. Sorry.
