Default Meekz the gnome warrior

So despite all the negative things I've read about the gnome/warrior combination, I've decided to roll one. I remember back on live (CT) there was a gnome warrior who was boss, Zippo. I'm looking forward to the difficulty since I have no PP to gear him, but that's classic EQ. I understand that Meekz will be dependent on groups, and I'm prepared for that. I just want to have fun playing this game, like I did in the past. My only question is, since all of this knowledge exists now, will i have trouble finding groups? Will people look past me to join their group because of my race? It's not that I want to be unique, I just want to play what I like.

I don't think you should have a problem as long as you become a good player. I know a couple of gnome warriors that do a great job.

I doubt you will see much bias in the group scene b/c you are a gnome, I suspect no one will look to you to tank raid mobs unless you are the only available warrior though.

Play what makes you happy. Some people min/max and play this game like an optimization problem so they don't care if they're an ugly ogre. Others actually enjoy the fantasy immersion aspect. Do what you want and have fun. Just note that being a gnome warrior does prevent you from being the best possible warrior on paper.

I think it's cool that you're playing a gnome warrior. I'd group with you!

Just get some obsidian shards. =p

I had one and he was pretty Bad Ass. But I could not see at times to pull with a Bow or see around other group members. SO gave it up.

This is pretty accurate from my experience as an Iksar warrior.

Ya, but, how many warriors are going to be a mt in a raid ??? Do what you want , and have fun with it . Odds are if you make a ogre warrior you aren't going to tank a raid .

Basically. Typically guilds pick tanks and stick with them for a while so odds are nobody joining server at this point will ever MT a raid.
