Default Genni - Fire Opals - Sol Ro

The "quest" where you give Genni in Sol Ro 550 gold and she gives you a Fire Opal has a bug. The past three times that I have visited her and purchased stacks of Fire Opals this bug has recreated itself each time.

The bug is this: If you buy/quest a stack of fire opals from Genni, you will have one fewer fire opal once you zone out. If you quested 20 fire opals, once you zone out you will only have 19 in your stack. If you quested 10, once you zone out you will only have 9, etc...

This has happened to me 3 occasions in a row. The third time, instead of zoning out I tried camping out inside Sol Ro. The same thing happened, however. When I logged back in, instead of the 10 fire opals I had quested/purchased, I only had 9.

Not to detract from the bug, but as an interim solution, I'm fairly certain that several vendors have these in permanent supply, and are only 41p with at least 113 charisma. I'll double check next time I pass by a vendor that would have them.

Ah ha. Well I see them fairly frequently in my travels, in the meanwhile, if you need them, let me know how many and I'll pick them up as I go. 2 on the vendor in front of me.

Could not reproduce this issue today, although I did in the past.

So I'm assuming something over the past year fixed this issue.

If there are further issues, make a new bug report.

Moving to resolved.
