![]() With the release of Kunark, most of the vocal leaders of Nihilum claimed the server would have a surge of players, eclipsing 200, 300 players again. However, we've seen the population again start stabilizing at 100 players only a few days into Kunark with the reality that it will drop in the near future.
I believe Nihilum has contributed most detrimentally to this server since their inception, and here is why: 1) They have over recruited since inception to offset their lack of skill as players -Prekunark this mentality dragged the server down to the lowest of the low, stalling any chance of population growth for months upon months, until finally it seized up to 30 active players (all one guild) 2) Now, after 9 months of recruiting, they have begun posting on the forums about purging members - this is going to be the final killing blow to this server population -Any member Nihilum kicks from their guild, at this point, will 100% end up as a former player of Red99 -Think about the recruited drones of this guild, over 120 members on their dkp site, the dregs of the community in terms of skill; where will they go? The answer is easy: they will quit It has been pointed out time and time again over these 9 months what the issues and problems are with this server, and if history has taught us anything it will be that the admins will listen to the players who continue to ruin this server. I would like to congratulate Nihilum for being the final killing blow to this server and the laughs that were had when you insisted that releasing more content was the key to saving Red99. Sadtimes bro.

![]() I agree "purging" members sounds negative, and the way they are doing it is negative...
Last night I /ooc WTS an item... The guild leader of Nihilum sent me a tell (Nizzar/Troriste) saying that he wanted the item. When I offered him a guild cost price he kicked me from the guild simply because... "I am not a team player" Well, it seems to me being a team player to them means that the officers, guild leaders, and high ranked members deserve to get items for free. It's pretty sad, because they have no set plan on how they purge their members, they are just going at it stab for stab, and defintely driving people away from playing rather than doing it logically, and with explanation.

![]() On a side note:
Kicking players is actually the best thing they can do right now. vv is not organized enuf yet, to raid stuff. Ps: still interesting tho, first they get as many they can, use them to get planar loots and keep only the quality players. Why do I keep seeing this on every single server I was in. Ohhh the humanity! Pps: dkp is the only way to go bros Ppps: don't hate !!!

![]() Seriously.
Red isn't going to die because of Nihilum or anyone else. It's going to die because there aren't enough people that want to deal with this server. There aren't enough true red players to keep the server healthy, and there aren't enough blue players who are interested in playing on red either. So red dies while some lame esport MMOA game flourishes. It's the circle of life.
