WTT BEWARE - EC scammer

Was scammed out of 2k by a guy name Trader. Also has a mule named Worldstar. Here are the screenies - he took my money, then logged back in after I called out his other level 1 alt "trader", and bragged about his awesome scamming / stealing skills.

Community was less than friendly about it - I know it was pretty dumb to expect an escrow transaction for the FBR, but having a bunch of toolbags jumping on me and praising him for scamming someone was pretty lame.

2k might be a small amount of money to some, but it was the majority of my savings. Anyway, here's the screenies. I doubt GMs would bother with reimbursing cash, I would never expect that, but I hope he can be banned.

The one screenshot of a Dwarf Cleric was a guy who ran up to Trader when he logged in the second time and looked like he was trading with him for a bit, then moved around away from him. Not sure if these kinds of people have higher level characters or not, but just a thought.

Sucks, be more careful. And fuck all you people defending the scammer as if he's just doing what any person would do. He's not What he did is considered fraud, and in the real world, we throw people like this in cages. Some countries cut off peoples' hands for this. Perhaps a dev could look up his IP to see who his mains are and expose that to the rest of the server. As a community we must fight against such thieves, even if the OP should have been more careful.

He tried to scam me out of a FBR. I was trading the FBR for a tola robe and he tried to get me to give it to his toon then he would log on his "main" to give me the tola robe.

i was in ec when this all happened, the guy who scammed was bragging about making another lvl 1 toon and doing it again... server scum

He got me too yesterday. Ashamed to admit it lol. golden rule of EC never give money up front.
