No toon showing at character selection??

Hey guys,

Just recently re-installed after a long absence, logged in and all my characters are now gone. I remember having this issue after installing new patches so I'm hoping there is an easy fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Had a 59 wiz on the account so hope my account wasn't just wiped lol.

Definitely don't think thats the problem

a. Are you logging in with the proper loginserver account? (Look at all your loginserver accounts by logging into eqemulator.net and viewing the control panel>LS accounts)

b. Are you logging into the proper server? (Red vs Blue)

c. does it just show a list of empty characters slots? Like 8 "Create new Characters"? OR did it fill half the list with fake characters with names like "Your Spell files" "Are out of date"?

d. have you tried logging off, and logging back in? Sometimes the list doesn't load propely and you need to try again.

I only have the one account that I have

it shows 8 empty char slots

tried logging out and in and nothing [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Are you getting a human called "Newbie" appear?

That can be a sign that you don't have the latest files. Have you downloaded the EQ launcher and made sure the files are updated there?

Ya what Swish said. That, or make sure that you are connecting to the right server (BLUE not RED)
