Reguarding Cleric Plane of Sky Quest

It says, "You say, 'I wish to trade'

Deric Lennox says 'Bring me Theurgist or a Truwian Baton and I will upgrade them to something a bit more useful."

What does it mean or what does he give when he says he will upgrade them to something more useful?

some sky quest items were upgraded a while ago int he timeline, if you hvae one of those, then you can trade it for the upgraded version. any quests completed now reward the new version and you can't get the old version unless you already had it from b4 it was upgraded

there was no upgrade for these items (according to the wiki since the upgraded items have the former and the latter) so that is why i was wondering what happens about "trading it in"

if there is/was an upgrade for Truwian Baton it doesn't seem to be on alla/etc
