Druid Epic Question

I had thought possibly your faction was insufficient. That's the reason I asked for logs - to see what you conned. The fact that he talks to you does not necessarily indicate that you have sufficient faction to do the turn in successfully.

If you were apprehensive that is most likely the problem as I believe that it requires indifferent.

Fortunately these are only the Antonica parts, pretty easy to replace, so I'd just do it again and make sure you're at least indifferent.

I guess I am trying to get a definite answer because I want to turn in my others and then the final epic. Don't want that getting eaten too!

Per the Wiki, Im not sure if you have or haven't done any of these...

First off, know this, if you have done any of the following:

• Participated with any battle in the Plane of Growth
• Killed the Millers in Qeynos Hills
• Killed Holly Windstalker in Qeynos Hills
• Killed Druids at a druid circle
• Killed Treants

Then you will most likely have faction issues to correct in order to complete the epic. It's tedious, but it can be done.



Also it states on the wiki for the other parts that you have to be 50+ ( tellin darkforest ) and

So maybe the tree checked your level just like the unicorn does?

ok so you are telling me I did nothing wrong and the quest is bugged? it shouldn't be checking level

I'm pretty sure it failed due to lack of faction, the message attached is just misleading.

Withered Treant is on True Spirit faction. I believe being apprehensive to them at character creation is completely normal without killing anything. IIRC I had to open the trade window then hide to complete it (sorry that doesn't work any more) after failing the first time myself.

Raising True spirit from apprehensive to indifferent is easy if you have someone to charm a lesser spirit for you. You can spawn a lesser spirit in any of several zones (see the shaman epic) but Butcherblock is easy for a druid. In BB kill peg leg and a true spirit will spawn. He will not talk to you because you are apprehensive, but if an enchanter, bard or puppet strings owner is handy they can charm it and it will then talk to you. Say the lines listed under shaman epic writeup and you get a tiny gem which you then turn in to Bondl Felligan in NFP. (Bind there to make it easy).

Peg leg repops every 6 minutes so you can repeat this fast. If you bind in NFP you can even visit the lesser spirit a 2nd time before it despawns if you're quick. Do this 3-5 times and you will be indifferent.

Is it me, or are you halfling in that screen shot? Try turning on sneak and handing in the items while in the rear cone of the mob.

again - we are trying to figure out WHY (For SURE) that this failed. i don't want to wolf form or sneak and become indiff...then turn in and it poof again because its a level problem

My confidence level is fairly high but not maxxed.

I'd look at it this way if it were me. Do I have ALL the pieces to finish?

If you're still lacking the VS stone and/or Faydedar pod then I'd wait for more info - petition again and try for a better answer from Eunomia cause you DID turn in the correct pieces and her answer was blatantly wrong.

But if you have all the pieces (and if you say yes in your 30s to this after as long as I waited to get them off VS I am going to cry) then frankly you'll have your epic faster by raising your faction and trying again asap. You might duplicate effort but waiting for the GM's to answer or refund on a quest petition when you have all the pieces burning a hole in you bags is tough and worth the risk of another lost turn-in of minor pieces.
