I guess we disagree on the definition of "violent hooligans". Violent hooligans generally don't politely abide by the velvet-roped pathway like wide-eyed tourists. Those people are being conflated with the small handful of actually-violent people who were there, and are being treated and often charged as such, which is completely insane. Horza if you yourself went to the capitol to protest the election of a republican president, and you walked around like a tourist for an hour taking selfies, I would not want you to be locked up for that. Maybe a slap on the wrist for tresspassing, but even that's flimsy if you were literally ushered in *by police*. But that's just me.
