Yeah I think people who don't know any better also don't realize that they aren't just "painkillers". I was so confused before what the big deal is cause people kept calling them painkillers, and who doesn't want to kill pain right? Sure they kill pain, but they also (can) induce extreme euphoria, and then extreme depression and horrible physical side effects in withdrawal. If they could somehow separate the opioid analgesic effect from the euphoric effect they'd be much less risky to prescribe for pain. Suboxone kind of does that, but even addicts on sub maintenance can shoot through it. The shit is evil.

Heroin addicts flirt with death every day while weed addicts flirt with going to 7\11 for doritos and being lazy every day. Lumping them together is just nonsensical which is what it seemed like gravy is doing.

Supreme court justices, regardless of politics, should at least have to possess the ability to think critically and skeptically and investigate pressing, pertinent issues before they give any kind of ruling on anything, or even an opinion. The utterances they make carry so much influence, even just off the cuff.
