I'm not worried about the qualms of a covetous heart. People that operate out of a covetous disposition are both insufferable, and insatiable. Honestly red states just need to be colonized. There will be no progress in this country as long as 400,000 people in Wyoming have the exact same amount of representation as 30 million Californians in an institution (the senate) that is capable of grinding the entire country to a halt. The senate originated as a compromise to get slave states to join the union and it has by far outlived its usefulness.

Democrats spent something like $6 billion on the 2020 election (republicans spent $8 billion). And for what? Honestly that money would go a lot farther simply paying families from California $100k to settle in Wyoming or South Dakota, helping solve the overpopulation problem in California in the process.

50,000 families would be enough to turn Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, or any number of these flyover states that should be territories.

I think that'll happen anyway so it's important to keep the filibuster intact so we don't careen wildly from ideological agenda to ideological agenda every 2-4 years.

Democrats won't be taking the House back any time soon if they don't do something about Republican legislatures passing laws that allow them to overturn elections if they don't like the results.
