Expanded child tax credits, good for low income households that are struggling and do the right thing with that money. Bad for those parent(s) that use their tribe of kids to harvest money.

Meanwhile unemployment is still very high, so what is the plan to cover this expansion?

My 2 cents, this is the democrats buying votes in 2022.

We were close to full employment under Mr Trump, not necessarily a good thing. Maintaining elasticity in human capital keeps seasonal industries moving.
