i just feel like poasting that the poster who lost his child, I believe Evia is the handle, gets to be anti vax. Especially since it was one of HIS family members who had a reaction to vaccine, I think it would be the duty of those around him to vax themselves so that his family would never need to risk vaccine or disease or any further loss, having paid FAR more than their fair share to the group immunity of society. I understand that there are many paths to the answer I find wrong, and I can't call Evia evil or stupid for that position. I do cry for his child and him, and for the knowledge that he was in a sense touched by these viruses, long harmless in our minds, in the most horrible and (pardon the word, which could never capture it) unlucky, unlikely, unbelievably unfair way imaginable. And I beg him to understand that my position is to vaccinate because the numbers do support that there is less tragedy overall. Not out of indifference to what happened, not at all. And I don't demand that his position develops. He has the right to his opinion, and he has arrived there by no fault of his own at all. Not in any way.

I just hope the rest of you people have actually lived some life by now too. That we can explain some of your doings with wounds. Because if you grew up sated without any terrible traumas, and the generations in your family were born and died in the correct order, and all it took was a mild boredom or sense of alienation to arrive here? I fear you'll never get to feel with your heart in all your days, and that prospect scares the F off me. I go numb sometimes too and it is terrible. Seek the heart of Christ
