It was a quiet afternoon in Seb. Getting there was not really a problem. Everything from the entrance to disco was up but there was only 2 see invis mobs in the halls (none near frenzied room). So I only had to disintegrate and gate back to start again.

Frenzied was not up at first. I cleared the room a first time, killed his PH twice before I had to go. When I came back 2 hours later, frenzied was up along with 2 casters.

So it takes about a minute to nuke down a level 50, if it doesn't break root, right? If there had been krups up in the room instead of a bok and a kor, do you think your roots would have held long enough for you to kill the scarab still? (Actually I don't even remember if krups pop in there, but I guess some boks can be 51+ too) I'm so used to only doing much casting on stuff that's been tashed that I don't even know how stuff resists/breaks early without it... lol.

Best part about starting this before 60 is that you kill 3 birds with one stone! HS north is very nice xp, and the other places you go to for the challenge aren't half bad either, PLUS you get some chances at loot that you'd miss out just soloing in CoM or HS ent or something, AND you're still checking stuff off your sheet [You must be logged in to view images. You'd be able to duo all of solo warmup/disciple already, I'd reckon, and with quite a few options for a partner. Just be ready to take it slow when you're learning the areas you're pulling from and fighting in, and be ready for a few deaths [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I don't know about krups because I haven't got the chance to CC them yet, but yes, fetter can break after 30 seconds on 51+ mobs while it can hold for 3 minutes on lower level ones.

That's the reason everytime I tried soloing in fear it wouldn't last very long. One 51+ add and you're spending your time and mana refreshing root.

Neryn, nice job! I'm surprised how much mana you had left. Time to get a cleric friend for insurance and try a L51 summoner IMO. It's going to be interesting if we have wizards soloing NG soon [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Liia/Arae: grats on duo gm! Liia you could be the first to duo legend if you can conquer the plane of sky and the protector!

Ramul, it really is. Except when you are chain dying in Fear. I have to admit as the proud owner of an iksar warrior I've been kind of disgusted by the posts of Daltheb/Perun raiding with TR and tanking all the endgame bosses on human monks, but then I always visit the solo artist challenge and remember that enchanters >> monks when it comes to skill. I'm going to edit my wiki guide and make monks a 0.

Right, that's what I was wondering about. With tash, fetter is pretty reliable even on a level 53 (resist maybe only 1 in 4 or 1 in 5 times, breaks early basically 100% of the time but it probably lasts a minute+ on average). But I have never ever had root on high-level stuff that hasn't been tashed to know what early breaks are like then [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
