im asking this because i was on LNS and im pretty sure this is an alt of one of the people that killed me. he brought me to 24% before i was able to finish looting corpse and plug.

I'm not trying to get this guy banned or suspended I just want to know if im allowed to do this too.

If someone calls LNS they have the right to loot their corpse and leave the zone no matter who killed them in PvP. With the new rules you do not have to call LnS so it is not implied without you making it very clear that you are on a LNS.

I really like the new rules but I wish there was a way to /tag yourself LNS so people weren't required to read /ooc or your /shouts before knowing if they should attack.

A good rule would be to just leave naked people alone period, whether or not they called LnS.

"Bind-point/Corpse Camping.

Killing someone over and over again while at his or her bind-point or while they are in the process of retrieving their corpse is illegal and may result in disciplinary action taken against your account. You are expected in all cases to give someone a reasonable amount of time to recover their corpse and leave the area prior to attacking again. This also applies to raid/group/guild PvP.

Conversely, the person recovering their corpse is expected to do so and retreat to safety promptly. In other words, sitting next to your corpse and taunting someone while daring them to attack you so that you can /petition them is bad form, and may result in disciplinary action taken against your account.

The P99CSR in attendance will decide what is reasonable in these cases. It is highly recommended that the people involved make equitable arrangements prior to involving the Project 1999 Customer Service Staff.

the rules are very vague and does not support your theory of lns. I just want to know what the rules are because they arent posted by the devs.

It is real easy to not be banned. I avoid attacking naked players period. I know I won't be banned. If people attack me I don't care if they break the PnP personally, up until this point anyways, so people won't have to worry about getting banned from PKing me.

If you are wanting to grief people while still being within the rules then yes, you need to figure out exactly what you can get away with. It is my understanding that any kind of LnS means you are safe. Otherwise a group of 6 can roll up and corpse camp a player 1 person at a time and that makes no sense to me.

Group of 6 corpses camp me for a week here once. Kept logging off to go to wok come back they didn't move just siting there like vultures. It's rough out there!!!

By far the first few months of red was way more enjoyable. Pvp meant something you didn't want to lose arm pits got sweaty at times. Now I really don't care if I die to be honest. I kite mobs an afk 5-10 mins. No exp loss. If I can't fight my way back I can just call for Lns. Basically I can be a cockface in game and you might get me once but I then laugh and port somewhere else.
