Christ Wonkie. That’s a really dumb thing to say. That’s like saying you can’t like peanut butter if you like jelly.

States rights and federal rights work together to create a system where we have overall cohesion with a federal rule set then we grant certain freedoms for states to decide on their own. They don’t get total free reign, they get flexibility when it comes to certain things. Free reign would basically be states being their own countries. I’ve never met anyone that actually advocates that because it makes no sense. You really gotta take a class on government structure before you continue here.

The argument is states rights vs federal supremacy.

Not states rights vs federal rights.

Silly goose.

The Federal government answers to the people. Hope that helps.
Okay. Go up to the federal government or federal government people and tell them you want 10 million dollars right now. They have it. And you say “the federal government answers to the people”. Let’s see if your claim is true.

No. You asked me “do you like states rights”. Somewhere you started to conflate the idea that if states aren’t able to break federal law by hosting large populations of illegal immigrants and willfully not prosecuting them then there is federal supremacy.

That's called "understanding the Constitutional argument settled by the Civil War". Silly boy.

It's not a local police force's job or responsibility to detain or deport an undocumented immigrant.

Right. It’s the state government leaders responsibility to make sure federal laws are followed and the appropriate actions are taken to achieve a law and order society with citizens and not society of people breaking the law via illegal immigration.

Negative. That's not a state's responsibility.
