even if they are capable of dicking with the schedle, with any luck Djlonijidontgiveafuck will just raid it once or twice and say "this isn't worth the effort"

I was in Doljiwhatever for a few days and was lucky enough to attend this lovely Chardok raid. If these guys are TMO alts, then I have to say TMO must suck pretty hard. After getting respawn 3 times just trying to get to prince (pulling instead of crawling into his room), we moved to library. After not levitating the raid, the MT decided to walk up and jump in the hole to king room, after the raid had been warned multiple times (by ME, not leaders). PWNED! I am not pointing fingers, but I would have to think any MT wearing over 500k in gear should probably understand mob positioning & maybe have been to royals before. Just a thought. Some good people in the guild, but seriously lacking leadership.

Caleros used to be in FE. He was super pissy about the fact that leadership refused to shit on the sky rotation. Looks like he finally found enough like-minded people to try and rain on everyone's parade.

I just find it hard to believe... that many people can just appear out of nowhere, granted I have been away for 4 months and haven't looked through their whole roster, but as a few people have pointed out that is a lot of members to just suddenly appear without any recruitment thread at all, and yet this creation of said guild is such a mystery?

I'm still calling some form of conspiracy.

from what it sounds like, there are probably quite a few bad players who utilized the recent double EXP times (eqmac and ddos) to get their toons high. with double EXP people were getting bards from 1 to 54 in a few days, AoE powerleveling and earning twice the amount of money while doing it, and using huge amounts of PP to twink out other characters.

supply and demand

Server has influx of newer higher level players and alts. Established guilds are clunky and difficult to join with established relationships and cliques. Even the "casual" guilds have 1 month trial periods and sponsorships required.

New guild forms up, offering alternative to the status quo. .

I guess get used to it. Velious will bring A LOT more of this type of instant guild when the population doubles.
