Tradeskill discombobulation.
only one tradeskill can go over 200, aka blacksmithing or tailoring
stuff like poison making doesn't count towards going over 200, so I can have 250 poison making and 250 blacksmithing tinkering can go over 200? is that bad? is it even possible to make haze panther goodies with 200 skill? if backing goes over 200 I am crazy ?

You're supposed to be able to have Tinkering and a normal all/all tradeskill over 200. I cannot confirm this is yet the case. It was previously not working, it was bug reported, devs said "fixed, pending update," and no one has since confirmed it is working as intended.

Real serious question here folks, gals, elves, trolls, universal beings. Uhmm.
So *if I want to make cultural armor* is 200 smithing going to cut it? will I have like a 50/50 failure rate or will it be like 25/75 success/failure. Or am I going to want to learn to be a real smith instead of a smith in name only?

You can calculate your success chance using this table. https://wiki.project1999.com/TradeskillTable

most are triv <240 according to the wiki but supposed to be >245, so at player skill 200 Teir`Dal Adamantite Breastplate (Imbued) p99 240 > some number 245 guessing around 71.50% for the hardest piece at 200, 95% at 250 PROBABLY best to put smithing over then! you are a savior saved me hours of zooming in and clicking the wiki ---------- I am leaning toward pushing tailoring over 200, as I only feel like maybe making 1 or two sets of tier'dal armor at most, and the caster stuff is all sub 200 but if things change in the future I could be in trouble the tailoring stuff I want to make, I do want to buy it, but there's no guarantee by the time I have the mats/plat I will be able to is all 300+ to do this on one character or multiple I don't know i'm looking at a year out :P its probably not hard to skill any tradeskills between 3 characters. (ps this is red99 so I am mostly on my own for all the things)

upon further research in the game mechanics forum (i am not going to link the post)
it's possible to have a gnome rogue with 250 tailoring, 250 tinkering, and 250 poison making the only tradeskills that count towards the cap are the fundamental basic tradeskills class n race tradeskills like alchemy, tinkering and make poison dont count towards the cap

The highest tinkering trivial I can find here is 175. So unless there are other recipes, tinkering is effectively limited to 175.
