Yaw, bluebies win at everquest thats something i've learned, can't beat those pve encounters just to hard to stay focused for longer then 5 minutes if there isn't pvp going on

nihilum already appeals to those who want pixels; they get basically every mob by zerging it

there aren't enough people who both want a pve focus and have integrity on this server for a 2nd pve oriented guild to work

Then why in the fuck do any of you people think Teams is the answer?

Eq is about pixels it takes so many fucking hours to lvl up people get invested. They do not wanna keep walking around in rags after investing that much time, so they seek a guild for pixels.

Teams will have everyone on one side getting pixels 99% of the population while the other side is crying on the forums. I guess

Takes 25 motivated people to obtain any of the kunark gear but people rather cry then go kill something.

Teams is not the answer.

What has been most shocking to me on this server is the unwillingness of people to shake things up. Right now with nihilum raiding 40+ deep, if you're a new app you have zero shot at any of the loot you'd be hoping for: PD loot, AoN etc., and you'll get all the loot you could've gotten anyway without having to raid. If instead these people would make their own guild of 24 people to compete, they'd ultimately get far more pixels, do so more with more excitement, and have thriving competition.

You know that is not true.

Any app once they become full member will get loaded with everything they want except maybe the 3-4 most rare items in the game. making their own guild would not hasten that process at all for many reasons.

This is why Nihilum is hard to beat when it comes to recruiting. The vast majority of the guild already has those items the new people want so we are able to funnel that gear much quicker then any new guild would be able to.

A big problem with this is when content is done. Nihilum won't face a force of 20-30 if they can manage to avoid it, and they can.

You need to be able to log in at 6 am with a force of 24 people, and that's not fun or realistic.

To be honest those 6 am raids aren't so bad. It only takes an hour and a half and I end up getting more stuff done in the apartment and I get into work early.

Well the reality of it is if another guild tried to do the same thing Nihilum would change it to 8 am. Nihilum will always take it a step further. After some time goes by you guys will probably be back to normal times all week since the spirit of the opposition will be crushed. 6 AM raids are just to avoid the competition and crush it with boredom.

Other guilds have to stop worrying about what Nihilum does and try to have fun with what is available during normal hours.
