Default Eager to play but can't find Titanium! help...

Hey I've been hurting to get back into Kunark. I even took my old name "Bloodthister" I wasn't the greatest speller in 1999... Project 1999 sounds like a hoot and a half, but I can't find an affordable copy of EQ Titanium. Can anyone lend me a hand PLEASE!?[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

thanks guys. I have a little bit of a torrent phobia. My college roommate got a huge fine for downloading music and I've tried to stay away from it... But this is everquest... This requires a lot of deliberation!

The key difference between music and Titanium is that the record labels have a vested interest in suing people over downloaded music, whereas SOE (or whoever owns them now) has no interest in suing people over a 10 year old game that they can't make any money off anyway.

Edit: And if they did, they'd almost certainly start by suing our beloved Project 1999, rather than going after people who download the software. As I recall (don't remember the exact thread) they've pretty much said "we're not going to do that" (as long as no one makes any money, which is why P99 can only take donations and can't sell us anything).

Sony offers the full EQ client for free on their website. You just can't use that one because it's not titanium.

You're fine. No ones going to fine for you for downloading something thats free.

There is also a high chance you bought EQ Titanium or atleast several EQ expansions in the past as well. Atleast if you are seeking to play here I am going to make that assumption.

In which case, you have already paid for it!

Don't torrent things at college. They'll actually nail you for it if there's even a hint of piracy.

There are always pirates in the bay. It's scary sometimes.
