Raid Suggestion, Retired Rogue
Firstly I would like to thank you guys for taking the time to read this message. I hope I can add some perspective to the raid situation. As I take the time reading the discussions, it becomes plainly obvious both sides are trying concessions, but neither side is willing to budge in the end. I do notice 1 think that kind of disturbs me being an old everquest original player, it is the fact Tier 2 wants days when T1 cannot compete, yet they do not want to give T1 any uncontested mobs to T2. One thing i noticed on the last repop, is while the tier 1 guilds gathered at VP, BDA went straight for VOX and Naggy, which during the repop was the only time T1 was allowed to engage, however BDA knew they were safe from losing their target because T2 had a rotation. This is discouraging, as to me its underhanded. But do not get me wrong, I am not a T1 fan. Yes im in a T1 guild, but I am a strong believer in sharing content, but not making the only competition in T1, while T2 can get mobs without tracking, or having to race.
Is there a solution, I do not know, but can I make a suggestion, since both sides cannot concede. 3 Simulated Repops per month. Repop Mobs as Follows. Repop 1- Trak, CT/Draco, Tal, Fay, will be T1 VS, Inny, Gore, Sev,Noble/OOA will be T2 Vox, Naggy will be any T2 guild that did not a mob, can be joint raided whatever, after 24 hours it will go FFA Repop 2- Trak, CT/Draco, Tal, Fay, will be T2 VS, Inny, Gore, Sev,Noble/OOA will be T1 Vox/Naggy will be T1 Repop 3- FFA, But with a 2 Mob Bag limit (Not Counting VP) Normal Mob Rotation as Follows. T1/T2/FFA. DO NOT INCLUDE SERVER REPOPS. Some Stipulations and reason I broke it up this way. Any guild can be in any tier, if they declare prior month. Hey if you want to be in T1 you declare it 30 days in advance and vice versa. Leave it open door policy, just be known you are locked in Tier for 30 days once your request is processed. A reason why I did not make T2 full server repop at once, is so everyone can enjoy the classic repops. Make a 2 hour lockout on vp on server respawns to force T1 to pick other mobs first then race. This makes T2 50% of repop mobs for the first 2 repops, and all but 4 mobs on FFA repop, 33% of normal mobs, plus 1 set of race, and makes them go after targets. I believe this plan represents both sides evenly and fairly. Just a suggestion from a grateful player, thank you for your time | ||

It's at the point now where someone might come up with an idea that surpasses all the others... but a lot of people just haven't got the patience to read through and give it the proper time. Whatever we end up with must be better than how it was before though.
