Hearthstone

I was surprised by this game. It's pretty good. If you like MTG then I recommend checking this out. MTG has gotten a little out of hand with the sheer amount of different abilities available. It's nice to see it go back to the basics.

Scrolls is by far my favorite digital TCG, but I do play Hearthstone occasionally.

Hearthstone is kind of a shitty game. The mechanics weren't immediately engaging (it really does play like babby's first TCG with training wheels), and updates are way too far apart. The game has literally not changed in about half a year, and considering it never had much depth to begin with, it gets real boring playing against the same deck over and over again for months.

Also the new "expansion" has really made me dislike the game even more... they're already introducing DLC into a free to play game. You have to individually buy each "adventure" where you get the new cards (which looks like they're introducing power creep already, btw).

Doesn't appear to be a draft/sealed mode in Scrolls. Is this the case? If so, that's pretty bad as it's essentially the only mode I like to play in CTG's.

My best deck is shaman, or druid. Gotten to rank 11 with the shaman.

I like playing rogue the best I think.

Rightly so too. For the level of casualness the game offers I think people who are feeding their $$$ in are missing the point of playing.

Another SW CCG person here. I used to play the hell out of it, still have all my cards. They aren't worth anything from what I could tell the last time I looked. Even Black Border Vader's! Gasp!
