pls unban him so the packet laggers will stop. having one person pay their electric bills with elf sim pixels is a lot better than 1,000 people not being able to play.

Yes, it's an FCC violation, thus making it a federal offense. Whoever is doing it probably thinks they're too smart to get caught by going thru a series of VPNs, but in reality, that's amateur level stuff.

If indeed it is some malcontent banned player, chances are this same player can be traced via historical logs.

Just recently went back and did another play through of this. Amazing what they pulled off on that little SNES console.

AFAIK the lag we were experiencing wasn't a DDoS.
