Default Stuck in 3d mode

My computer recently forced me to upgrade to windows 8.1 and since then my EQ loads into what appears to be a bizarre 3d mode that I can not for the life of me figure out how to turn off. Does anybody have any insight into this?

If it's a Nvidia card, CTRL T should work.

I get the pesky enticement to upgrade to 8.1 every once in a while, but never been forced to upgrade. I just cancel it.

Please tell me this isn't a thing. Not that I really have a strong objection to 8.1, but... wasn't too fond of 8.0, tbh.

Yes, it is. End of support for Win8 is 11/13/2014. I am not sure if Microsoft will force you to upgrade, but 8.1 is the lowest supported version. All future updates (Update 1, Update 2, etc) will be deployed just like patches via Windows Updates.
