New to Red

Good morning everyone
I have played EQ since 2000 late kunark till now as a paladin then a druid and have found myself not logging in much anymore it gets very boring soloing/moloing content.
I hope that P99 brings back that old feeling of excitement I had when first playing also I have never played on PVP server before and thought it will add to the excitement as it will be new.

I have started as an enchanter (not played one before and always fancied trying )is that a bad choice for pvp ?

Are there any Guilds that accept Newbie players ?

You could try <Fresh>, theyre always recruiting lowbies and such.


Enchanters are pretty good if you know how to work em in PVP. especially when teamed up with a melee of sorts.


As far as advice, anything that makes you money while you level so you can start to afford gear. put on /role so people cant see what zone youre in or what lvl you are. Always con other players to see if theyre in range. Look out for low lvl twinks. the more insecure people here will delevel epic toons solely to beat the brakes off of anyone new to the server.

why dont you list your char names / levels and the zones you inhabit so we can come "Help" You level and welcome you to red?

You will not be showered with pixels. You will not get your epic. You won't get rushed to end game levels.

You will have a lot of fun and kill people. If you didn't come to red99 to kill other players you will not fit in, and you will likely join <Fresh> or maybe <Holocuast>...and we will kill you.

We have a pretty solid core of players that have characters leveling in the mid 20's-mid 40's at the moment, and almost all of us have several characters in several level ranges.
