![]() always choose the path of least resistance in video games. I'm not here to insult you, but maybe give some friendly advice and tell a short story.
I remember when I was younger and would do whatever it would take to win "the" game. I killed my enemies at every chance I had, I didn't let them build new characters, their friends I would kill just because I didn't want my competition to get bigger. I'd invite people to my guild and help them become stronger to keep the competition down. Meridian 59, much like Everquest is a numbers game, but with Meridian your skilled players stood out much more. Meridian59, once my favorite Pvp game because of the challenge and the much acquired joy I would get from killing other players is now dead. No one plays that game, my enemies all quit. My team and I were the only ones left with a small batch of noobs that I would kill because I was so bored. I thought I was the winner of that game, but in the end we all ended up losing. I look back and know now that what I did was wrong and would never do again in any game that I played. I've always been playing in the under dog guild and always trying to help the server thrive by helping others out, and doing what I can to protect the newer players. I never harassed Fresh, or any newer guild. I never hunted TMO when I was in Good Guys or Azrael and now I am under TMO's leadership doing the best I can to help this guild grow to make the server healthy. If TMO ever did become the top dog guild, I'd sooner than later leave them and help the next guild that is up and coming. I want this game to thrive, the problem with this server is to many man-child's that only think about themselves. You have players like Fandango who "represent" their guild on the forms and talks a big talk but he has accomplished NOTHING on this game except for joining the top guild and being a number. Players that are actually decent pvpers like Chuckslaw are becoming more and more Zombie like. I challenge Chuckslaw and the players like him to leave the safety net, and help make this game more enjoyable TO ALL. This is an emulated server, and it will not last long at this rate. I've enjoyed playing this game for a while now, but myself and a few others cannot keep this game fun without the help of others. If you really care about this servers health, you'd take your leave from Empire with the newly accomplished gear you have and help bring some competition back to this game. To my pals in Friends and Gods Work. I understand why you don't want to help gear and level up new players and you want to play with only geared out, skilled, knowledgeable players, it's fun. I get it, it is much easier and more fun to run around with a gank group of people to grief others, but in the end this game will not last with that. I ask you to rethink what you're goals are in this game. Is it to pvp equally skilled/geared players, or is it to continue griefing level 56's in rags? My two cents.

#glasshouses brobb i like you pal, you've always been a good guy not afraid to take a fight with bad odds but i feel like tmo is a lost cause, their leaders came here as biggots, completely alienated many apps and wanted to have rigorous app processes and barely talked back when you sent them tells, if they were not interested in us why in the fuck would we help them throne the server? looking at it now when their lead has already resigned from the forums and probably rerolled as new people with new names on a clear path to empire i see i was right in my choice, tmo isn't going to be the next big thing, the bluebies failed us (who woulda though)

You cant really fault people (that much) for joining the zerg though, server is so small and its fun to see content you never saw on live. If server had 1000+ pop then a case could be made i guess. Sucks that staff decisions tilted server toward giving an edge to bad elements even more that they would have had because yea theyd have zerged anyway. Thats the main reason in my mind why the server has a low pop, not that it is residenced by griefers, but that staff decisions led to them having an edge leading to a toxification of the general pop with "normals" leaving the sinking boat. As those people quit, other "normals" that try to play here afterwards dont find a crew to gravitate toward to (Pick eslade, slathar, or the other sad fuckers like Vapo in team A) and it has a spiral downward effect.

Brobb is a great guy imo always helpful with the newer/lower level players in TMO and the TMO members as a whole. I can see him fighting for the underdogs I just hope we can keep him feeling like its worth it and he's appreciated. He has a point also a 1 guild server wont offer a lot of choices to attract new players. I really like the current guilds available though since there is a little for everyone just not a lot of options for someone who wants to experience more of the game raid scene currently.

![]() I remember being in Red Dawn and helping them grow. You forget that part? How long was I in Nihilum? One or two days at most, helped kill zero dragons, and was on the verge of quiting. Was a last resort for me. Like I said, this isn't a I'm better than you, this is asking the server to rethink its position. We have an opportunity here to make this server great and enjoyable for most players. A two guild server will make the population strive and also maintain a majority of its player base. What we have now is hurting the game that we play? Don't you see that?
