Default Constantly dropping to desktop - since today

Anyone else experiencing this? Played yesterday evening all fine and dandy but since today its just impossible: game drops me to desktop at irregular intervals (always in combat though) every 20-30 minutes. No error messages, nothing, the client just closes.

To answer the obvious: no, didnt change anything since the day before! No new drivers, no windows update, no virus scanner change, no network settings change, nada. Not done a thing to my computer.

Sadly its unplayable this way. Just died, while being LD once more, lost all xp I had made in that session and gave up since I'll surely die more when playing under these circumstances.

Any Ideas please?

This happens to me every so often as well.
I believe it just has to do with compatibility issues with newer PC hardware/software.
From what i've noticed, Older PC's seem to have a better time running p1999.
Try and diagnose what exactly is causing this to happen, for a while anytime I interacted with the merchant in the inn at Rathe mountains (guy at desk)
my client would crash
Or in Sol A, if three people in the same area were to cast greater healing at once (no joke, I tested it) my client crashed. I had this tested several times, and finally it stopped crashing after the third time, and i've been good since..
Fuck ya chad
