I can't believe I didn't know about Project 1999 sooner. Ever since SOE ruined EQ, I've been bouncing around from WoW to Anarchy Online to CoH to Aion and feeling nostalgic for EQ classic all the while. Little did I know that the largest private EQ server is full of people who feel the same way. Whenever I think of 1999 I'm filled with warm memories of running back from junior high, booting up the old Pentium 450 MHz machine with the old 56K modem and happily sitting for endless hours in LFay camping Saben Tucross (sp).

Any old school Vallon Zek players here? I was Qenaden, an enchanter. Downloading client now and can't wait to log on!!
