Seen some conflicting information regarding when these went in. The wiki shows the haversack as "Velious content", but I know better than to trust that completely. Is there an official position on this? I did a little digging and found this:

When looking for the classicness of Tradeskill combines check a few things.

1. Does it exist in eqtraders.com Wayback Archives list of recipes

-These are often incomplete but if it's there, it's definitive proof it exists during that era. Pick a 2001 Wayback date. If it is not listed go to #2

2. Do any of the components in the recipe require components only available in later expansion.

3. When are the first postings about the item on allakhazam

4. What items are around its item ID on Lucy.

Two of the sub-combines include Celestial Essence. This is only available in Luclin/PoP (Shadow Haven, Sanctus Seru and PoK). Therefore they are not classic.

I would have to test this out, but I believe Celestial Essence can be made in-game (part of the Coldain Velium Temper recipe). I'll go take a look in SS later for the Celestial Solvent.

Not sure about infused platinum thread. I know you cannot powder gems at the moment.

Because of the vendors they are sold by.

All the "a spell research mule" NPC Vendors you see in classic city zones were added when they revamped the Research system in 2006 or so.

The 2 vendors in East Freeport you see selling them, are vendors added when Freeport was revamped for the Prophecy of Ro expansion, adding a huge number of TS Vendors.

The remaining NPCs are in Luclin zones (Bazaar, Sanctus, Katta, Shadow Haven, Fungus Grove) and Plane of Knowledge.

Again you will see the only vendors are in the Luclin zones and PoK that I listed above.

It was only purchase able in Luclin and PoP zones. Therefore it is only a Luclin/PoP item.

Yeah ... how are people making Velium Boning for their panther armor, etc. - without celestial essence?
