Default Necro in Droga

Hey, i have a level 36 Necro (due to many deaths) and id like to start xp'ing in droga and was wondering if anyone had any good advice to make this a less painful process.

I dont see many spots to fear which in turn, makes the spell casters wreck me even when rooted.
I try to interrupt casts with screaming terror, but that just becomes very inefficient atleast from what I've seen.

Thanks in advance for the help.

PS : And i would like to avoid the " Level somewhere else " answer because obviously its not the most optimal place but for my own reasons i want to attmept leveling here.

34-40+ mines of nurga (pras Swish for the idea)

Exit tunnel has 5 single goblin spawns and 1 dual spawn. Most are casters, but that is not an issue since the narrow tunnel with lots of corners let's you root rot and get out of LoS. *healer mobs will not heal if they don't have LoS on you*

Send in pet to eat dots/dd/ht, then something like malo - disease - poison - root (since you'll have threat after dots and can position mob) - move around corner and call off pet. Until 39 you'll need 2 poison dots.

Nice xp, OK drops (salts) and +chardok faction for those nice velious quests. I at most saw 4-5 ppl ever in the zone when I did 34-40.

Anyway here is a map, I was also going to add this could work for a necro as well either root rotting or fear kiting as there is enough room for it. The map is missing a few hall ways though, much more room between spawns.

Well, that serves my reason to take a non optimal leveling spot , as i want the chardok faction. Map very helpful and excited to give this a shot tomorrow and earn my level back!

Default Nurga 'Exit Hall'

Map is top notch. Confirmed good area.

Just be careful with pet pathing halls when returning // following you. Have had him get lost and run into some baddies presumably on other side of the wall. Always be prepared to FD when pet suddenly dies instead of being 10' behind you.

I second the Nurga idea. Not only are the mobs more appropriate for your level, but you also have a lot more room to work with. The mobs in Droga are really packed together much closer.

Based on some soloing I did in Nurga/Droga on a magician, Droga is probably doable for you at 39+, but I'd really recommend staying in Nurga until 44 before you switch.

One other trick to deal with casters while root rotting is to root them around a corner. You, or your pet, will eat some spells as you re-apply roots/ dots, but won't constantly eat the spell spam as you let the dots do their work.

Pull with pet (pet eats the casts), Root, dot, duck behind corner, back pet off.
When time to re-apply, send pet in. caster will start casting on him, and let you dot/ re-root. duck back around corner, back pet off.
