Default Torpor recommendations?

I've got a 60 shammy that doesn't have Torpor (or C4) yet, but does have ~60k and wears a Fungi.

Is it worth selling the Fungi so that I can buy Torpor - so that I can then go kill stuff that will drop C4? Seems that if one has to choose between Fungi or Torpor (even if for a month or two), then it's a no-brainer - Torpor. But I'm no expert...anything I'm missing?

I would say that given the choices you have listed, I would agree. Torpor first, then farm/get fungi and C4.

Sell that Fungi, no brainer. After you have Torpor there really is no need to were a Fungi imho.

If you have torpor you can buy another fungi very easily if you want one.

Got Torpor, love it. I still miss the Fungi though and will save up for another. Some of those solo dragon fights are 20-40 minutes long...a Fungi would equate to 2-4 more "FREE" torpors during that time. That is VERY significant.

I keep Regrowth on during the fights as well, and that is also quite noticeable (the first few times I let it wear off early in the fight and didn't recast, and I definitely could feel the difference).

Torpor is god-like, but I'm surprised how much the baseline regen still makes a difference. WTB Fungi. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I got it for 100.

fahlen, Yeldema is supposedly the easiest, and is the only one I've solo'd so far. Not sure who is considered the second/third easiest. Not sure on the mobs that drop those spells since I bought them all, although the wiki should list 'em.

Some of the PH's on myga cycle are easier than yeldema, or at least as easy. I think Sivar doesnt aoe, myga is easy too, and I dont think they even rampage. GL ever seeing myga though hehe, Sivar is common one on that spawn. Of the nest ones Bratavar is pretty easy cause he doesn't rampage, I think all the others do. Mazi has fewer HP for whatever reason but seems to be fairly resistant and is probably the toughest nest one.

Of the roaming PH's on myga cycle, Nintal/Bufa/Quoza/Onava are tough. Nintal/Bufa hit for 300+, Quoza is fairly resistant, and Onava is immune to disease based spells.

As I'm about to hit 60 and have had a copy of torpor banked, what are some of the easier dragons to solo? And on that note what are some good targets in general that drop Malo, pox, and bane? I'll probably buy Malo, but curious nonetheless.

Ahh no aoe, nice. Sadly out of the 3 only 1 mob is listed. Everything is "kunark 50+ Mob drop" which is doesn't quite narrow it down. Emp, prot, maybe jumpalot and royals are about all I can think of off the top of my head.
