Weapons Set For Ranger

Is Velium Swiftblade off Hand / Wurmslayer Mainhand a decent combo? I currently have a Woodsman and a FBSS, but that 36% haste is making me think of a comparable DW set up even though the swiftblades damage is kinda Meh.

What level are you? I'd probably suggest sticking with what you already have since you are already invested.

Wurmy is good to level 40ish, then the 10/18s+ start beating it. That combo would be good like 20-30ish, but woodman's is so good at those levels, and to 45-50ish when very good 1handers start winning.

I agree stick with that, or a very expensive 1 hander set, depending on your level.

I think at 51 your off hand is too skilled to stick a bad ratio.

Have you started swiftwind? I use a wurmslayer and swiftwind from level 50 for the time being.

Do the math, but a 10/18 beats wurmslayer in mainhand at 50/51 pretty bad. There are a few 5kish+. There's some other faster weapon out there too. Wurmslayer is 40-45 and under weapon ideally.

Yea, I still carry around my lupine dagger (9/18) and to be honest, I feel even that is close (better?) dps to the wurmslayer.

I'm using defiance and lamentation at 41, it seems to be doing fine
