It forces them to dual wield/quad drastically increasing the chance of death for people who don't have invis and refuse to know their place and use the tunnels to get to NFP.

Some times I charm the gators in Oasis and give them scale of wolf and odd good loot for the teen levels.

Giving pets a torch, a regular 1 silver half pound torch from a vendor will cause any NPC to start dual wielding. necro pets, mage pets, guards, charmed pets, even chanter animations.
