Newbie Question: Why EVERYONE is getting SOULFIRE?
Like the title says, since I started a few weeks ago, I see somehow occasionally an NPC shouting Everyone HAil so and so wielder of soulfire.
In my newbieness I began to congratulate everyone via tell, but then I saw not all wielders were Paladins. Is there something going on I am not aware of? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Just wondering haha

anyone can click it and its 5 charges of complete heal. everyone should have one in their bags and a few corpsed

The slightly longer answer is that this is one of those "classic environment vs. classic knowledge" things: far less people on live knew that Soulfire could be used that way.
It's also one of those Blue vs. Live/Green things: because people here have had so many extra years to pimp their characters, they've got (comparatively) nothing better to do then pick up a Soulfire. On live (and presumably on Green) most players would be too busy working on their epic, or some other quest that was actually meant for their character, and then by the time they'd finished all of them there would be a new expansion with new quests to work on.

Lots of out of the box thinking happens here since we were on Kunark for so long.
Two examples I can think of: A guild killed Trakanon using nothing but earring clickies You can use gravity flux to get up to certain areas in VP to have a relatively safe spot to rez/recover | ||

Its one of those things that is technically classic, but totally not classic ;D
Like swarming on a bard during velious or before. Lots of people say "oh I used to do that" but they are lying lyers who lie. People weren't amassing soulfires either back then ;D
