New Install, replaced files, still need help

So I downloaded the Titanium version, got it installed, replaced files as called for, but when I try to launch Titanium I get a message saying "you cannot use a debugger while playing project99" any idea whats wrong?? THX

I am getting the same error followed by unable to start eqgame.exe

I have just installed this for the first time and came across these errors. Disabling my virus scanner (AVAST) solved the issue. Hope that helps.

Another AVAST user chiming in here; I ran into the same issue and disabling AVAST for 10 minutes allowed me to get past the error mentioned by OP, but then the program would run but stop at a black screen.

I had to use WinEQ 2.0 to launch the game successfully.

Adding the exe file or Sony folder to exceptions in your virus scanner will stop the need to disable Avast each time you launch.
