Default Infrequent screen lockups

Hi All,

Ive had to recently re-copy my entire EQ installation folder. Since then I've been experiencing some weird behavior thats preventing me from soloing.

Essentially I get weird infrequent 1-2 second screen lockups. Everything on screen locks up and after the 1-2 seconds it continues on as normal. This essentially makes bard swarm kiting impossible as during the time I lock it seems my character stops running and takes a beating!

The lockups are random, and infrequent. But do happen frequent enough that I can't get a single kite in without running the risk of dieing.

Anyone have any thoughts? On this very same system it worked fine yesterday. Since I've got a fresh copy of EQ game files however something is messed up?

NM seems to be all over. Any ideas on client settings I can change to improve this?

WINeq2 did nothing. I am sad to say however that the issue lies with my SSD. Once I launched EQ from my 1TB platter drive i never experienced these issues. Too bad I won't be able to zone fast, that was much fun. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
