Any official word on newbie quests?

Are the devs planning on releasing any official info on the noob city quest exp nerf?

My human suffered the lack of xp on human quests, where my halfling made turn ins every 30 seconds not for good xp but for 1 plat per potion. Insanity how much money the halflings gte to start with, everyones in leather from the merchant right away ;p

Not really, the pots are pretty rare (unless you get super lucky).

Most of the halflings were wearing tailored patchwork/tattered stuff. Ruined wolf pelts.

I was lucky I suppose. My first three turn ins were potions, then I got a fishing rod, a weird stalk thing, then another potion. Then I bought a cloth set and set out to get my skills up ;p

Nice. Yeah I did it like 50 times and got 5 pots, a stack of carrots, tons of whiskers and several fishing rods. Grats!
