Default Apple Wine Issue: Environment graphics missing after patch 52

Has anyone encountered this issue after patching with v52? This is present in both blue and green servers. I'll try to post a better picture. Basically the hills and ground are transparent. So everyone is walking in thin air.

I’m having the EXACT same problem. Reinstall did not clear the issue. I believe it is related to dynamic lighting because that’s when it started, and shutting sky off (before the option was removed) would make the ground appear again. Water is still visible.

Make sure to post the files inside folders directly into the folders. Do not paste folders over folders.

Did you try this everyone?

I am playing on a Mac with Wine, no issues, and installed as above (well, I have issues, all the Decaying Skeletons being camped).

Yes, I’ve done two reinstalls. Still walking on thin air. If I pan the camera up, I can see the ground if it’s higher on the z axis than my character, so the ground textures are hidden somehow by the sky. I remember before the sky options were removed, turning off the simple or complex sky would reveal the ground.

Unfortunately I haven’t had time to try to fix it. Luckily i have a working install on a windows pc but would very much like to get my mac os laptop back to working condition.

OP - Have you found a solution? We need a fix for this as places like Blackburrow are almost unplayable.

I use wine to play on Linux, have no sky anywhere since patch 52.

Mostly have walls, but not in some zones. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I’m playing on a windows laptop and have the same problem. I’m not even sure what “wine” is but my graphics look the same as pictured.
