Hey there guys im new to this Project 99 server,and im in need of some help if anyones able to provideee

Umm the UI i wanna use the UI solaria, buttt problem is my spell icons an buffs an such are wayyy off none worked ive been trying for like soo long lol if anyone could step by step help me i would apperchiate it also heres a better introduction

Welcome dude. Somebody here might be able to help you with your UI problems, or point you in the right direction. I'm definitely not that person.

I'm sure there are people who know how to code the UI. Also, I'm sure that if you have any knowledge with coding, you could figure out the XML and mostly just ask specific questions here.

The problem with your request is that you don't provide any specifics details.

Where can someone not running solaria UI obtain it (link)?
What specific components of the UI are not functioning for you?
I see you note that buffs and spell icons are not functioning properly, are they not displaying? Are the icons different symbols than you want? Are there graphical glitches with the icon display?

Finally, you write with minimal grammar and add additional letters (provideee? buttt? wayyy?). If you want a professional, step-by-step response, then write like it.

well, i just kind of gave up on the whole solaria im just having now ICON issues, My grasping root on my druid looks like a Druid Damage shield icon,i have followed the instructions on the fourms on what to do, and everything works fine just my Icon pictures are off heres a picture

Well, if your spell icons are not mapped to the correct spells, then I'd say that is a spell file issue. Do you have the latest changes from http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...ad.php?t=2651? EQChanges V8 came out Sunday.

Do you have the P99 UI changes files downloaded/installed in the correct directories?

I then recommend following the UI update guide to get a stable beginner UI. http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...ad.php?t=11949

Following these steps should create an accurate base UI. Once you know your UI is accurate, then I'd try re-enabling/downloading the Solaria UI and seeing what errors there are. You will then be able to attribute those errors to the Solaria UI and can troubleshoot from there.

Also, I found a post here on the forums of someone getting Solaria UI working. Is this the same one?

If so, I recommend liberal use of the search function in the top menu bar for future inquiries.

I have followed that already done the steps 3x along with making multiple back ups of the UI files so i can keep trying...i have downloaded the UI update and put it the default folder, i have done the walk through and tried various times to use the sq or rounded icons to see if that help and nothing works my spells seem to be still not the right Icon's, its actually frustrating to be perfectly honest. I don't know what could be the problem ive done everything step by step i have gone into the folders to look if they were accidently put in the wrong folder and they were in the right spots.I apperciate your help but it seems like this is a lost cause ive been trying sense last night and nothing seems to be working for me.

Start by installing EQ into the root folder (C:\Everquest) and make sure you have admin rights for it. Once you have that done the rest of the basics should fall into place.

is there anyway someone would be able to remote access and do it for me?ive been trying all day and im getting the same results?i got team viewer, i can get realvnc if anyone is willing to help
