enlighten me on how that will happen with same character names and 8 character slots overflowing and im sure a bunch of other roadblocks?

Frodo becomes frodox when he gets copied over (if there's already a Frodo). He can petition a GM for a manual name change if he doesn't like it (or maybe the staff will give us a /rename command or something to save themselves from having to do it).

The client can have more than 8 characters, you'll just have to scroll. If you don't want to scroll, delete characters until you only have 8.
