![]() I’ve been playing the early testing of the game over the weekend. It’s good but of course needs polishing and incomplete, but it does truly feel like a retro reboot of classic EQ.
To start, you spawn at a city gate with no instructions of pop up hints. The only clues you have are a note in your inventory to speak with your guild master. There’s no map, no quest markers, no clear direction on what you should be doing. For this reason I am really enjoying the game. Unfortunately it won’t be releasing until 2026, but for me, it’s the only game I’m looking forward to.
