Default Noob wtb answers!

Hey Guys,

When eq first came out I was just a kid with no knowledge or MMO's at all. By the time I actually starting to get into Everquest and the MMo scene eq was already pasts it's hay day. I am really looking forward to giving this whole project 1999 thing a try so I can actually see and feel what everyone else did back in 99.

With that being said the PvP server is going to be my choice, because I love PvP. Can anyone give me any adivce on what classes are terrible and what classes are decent etc. I'm not looking to roll the OP flavor of the month, but I do have a few classes in mind and I'd like to see if any of them are just flat terrible in PvP, because that may help my decision.

Any adivce or tips would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

- Matt

Mage was one of my top choices, either that or a ranger. But I have always been interested in druids, are they really that fun? How do they fare in the solo'ing region. And thanks for the help so far, much appreciated.

If your a druid you can be a clicker and watch youporn and still prosper easily soloing. I know i do! plus you get ports snare dots heals its easyquest. you know you want too. and we can powerlevel your ranger later just powerlevel my halfelf warrior.

Basically, Druid and pure casters for easy leveling.

Somehow clerics seem to be reaching level 50 pretty fast as well, but I have no clue how.

If you want to learn how to DoT kite, you can play a bard, but be prepared to be rooted every chance someone gets, causing you 9% xp loss.

If you hate yourself, go melee or hybrid.
