IB selling off all their Loot and Accounts, why?

It would be nice if the GMs keep an eye on this in the coming weeks.
Shouldn't be too hard to log all transactions 100k+ and then to look at what those toons did with the money.

You're right - 100% no reason to sell your toon for plat unless you're rerolling another character. Which for some reason odd reason I doubt they are doing...

What is the purpose of clearing out their guild bank (seems like it is IB's guild bank- he says "Manastone(s)" and "Orb of Tishan(s)" because he doesn't know exactly how many they have) if not to make phat stacks o bills?

Each of the 3 above listed sales has the potential to generate 100's of thousands if not millions of plat. It can't be that hard for the admins to track transactions of this level and make sure the plat is not being sold for real money.

Kins, clearly I have no problem with people selling items they earned while they were raiding so I'm not trying to put you on blast here, but you're also selling a Dragon Hero Bracer, which I know there are not a lot of on the market (probably just mine). Again, just think it is funny that I was turned into some greedy bad guy for selling off my items in light of what is going on now.

Nah Cheatashan he's been in TMO for a while. Not his fault you don't log on your own toon but instead let him be passed around like a 3 dollar Bangkok hooker amongst your former/current/currently imploding guildmates. I was wondering about Eashan in VP last night.. the real Eashan could have trained much better. Of course thats probably just due to the third party programs you were using in addition to boxing.

It's the mmo version of discretionary earnings. Distribute as you see fit and in this case it's personal gain.

So Kin.. enlighten us. What the point in liquidating everything you own for platinum? Anything you could possible want to buy to reroll a new toon with you own or could own trade for.
You can easily buy a new 60 toon or whatever level you want with any one of the various items you're selling (its an impressive sale list I'll give ya that - just missing a Pre-Nerf Staff and some Trak BPs & VS Legs lol). No need to sell all your items unless you're quitting.

And if you're quitting what use do you have for all that plat? Hmmm..
So what are you going to do when you amass several million platinum? Give it away to noobs in EC?
