Default Spellset

Why spellsets are disabled?

I hate trying to find my spells one by one every time I die...

Because it's Project 1999; Project 2012 is on Live.

There were no spellsets in medieval times, hence there are no spellsets at Medieval Times, would you like a refill on that Pepsi?

I would recommend organizing your spells in your spell book.

hmm other than the spellset being nefed...i can also see that some icons also don't display with some of the newer icon sets.

Is that intentional or what?

I'm fairly certain things like spell icons are handled client side. Not sure any alterations to the game client the admins make can have the effect you've described.

I like searching through my spellbook to find my spells after I die. I have them in a specific order and I have gotten pretty good at getting them memmed before the rez. Not that I die a lot. Nope.

UI getting getting nerfed as time goes on = not classic.

I recognize that EQ is awesome because the pain makes your triumphs that much sweeter... but I'm sure the original devs would have been THRILLED if they had seen where the UI would end up within a few years of launch.

Is it kinda like driving a vintage race car with a power steering mod? Yes, but damnit ... I'm older now and my arms get tired!
